Warm-Up Routines: Start Smart


Before you even touch a surfboard, warming up is crucial. A proper warm-up increases blood flow, reduces the risk of injury, and wakes up your muscles for paddling and balancing. Some of our favorite routines include arm circles, torso twists, and dynamic leg stretches.

When our students first Learn to Surf Barbados, we often notice tension in their shoulders from the paddling ahead.
